Product Description

16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Drive shield module I2C PCA9685 For Arduino NEW

Description:

– It is an i2c-controlled PWM driver with a built-in clock. It is not necessary to continuously send the signal by tying the microcontroller, it is completely free!
– It conforms to 5V, which means that you can control it from a 3.3V microcontroller and continue to drive up to 6V output (this is useful when you want to control white or blue LEDs with 3.4+ voltages ahead )
– 6 address selection pins so you can connect up to 62 of these on a single i2c bus, for a total of 992 outputs.
– PWM adjustable frequency up to about 1.6 KHz.
– 12-bit resolution for each output – for servos, which means about 4 seconds of resolution with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
– Configurable push-pull or open-drain output.
– Output enable pin to quickly disable all outputs.
– The PCA9685 chip is wound in the middle of the panel.
– Terminal block for power supply input (or the 0.1 ‘breakouts on the side can be used)
– Protection against inversion of polarity on the input of the terminal board
– LED with good green power
– 3-pin connectors in groups of 4 so you can connect 16 servos simultaneously (the Servo connectors are slightly wider than 0.1 ‘so that you can stack 4 one next to the other on 0.1’ header.
– ‘Chain-able’ design.
– A place to place a large capacitor on the V + line (in case you need it)
– 220 ohm series resistors on all output lines to protect them and can easily drive LEDs.
